Lucknow: The city of Nawabs is set to resonate with devotion and celebration as Lucknow hosts a grand three-day Navratri Mahotsav from 28th to 30th September 2025, under the blessings of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
📍 Venue: Kuckoo’s Lawn, Viraj Khand-1, Near Max Hospital, Gomtinagar, Lucknow
The festival will beautifully blend the sanctity of Vedic rituals with vibrant cultural performances. Each day will witness sacred homas and pujas, beginning with Sri Maha Ganapati Homa, Navagraha Homa, Rudra Homa, Mahalakshmi Homa, Sudarshan Homa and culminating in the grand Sri Chandi Homa. Devotees can participate through Sankalpa/Yajman Seva and receive blessings from these traditional offerings. Learned Vedic scholars from the Vaidic Dharma Sansthan of the Art of Living Ashram, Bangalore will conduct the rituals.
Beyond the spiritual, the Mahotsav promises lively cultural engagements. Highlights include Children’s Drawing & Rangoli competitions, Kalash/Matka Decoration, Mom & Me Fancy Dress, Mehndi competition, and the ever-popular Garba & Dandiya evenings.

Special performances will include:
- Kathak recital by students of Guru Surabhi Singh
- Bharatnatyam performance by the Naved troupe
- Dance & shloka recitations by Sanskar Kendra children
- Divine Bhajan Sandhya by Art of Living singers, creating a devotional ambience
The Garba and Dandiya celebrations will feature competitive categories such as Best Dancer (Male/Female), Best Couple, Best Group Performance, and Best Traditional Dress.
